About Us

I'm Rochelle Celik, founder & curator of this growing venture. Knot Eye is the product of a life spent with my feet in 2 different worlds.

I took my first steps in Istanbul and spent nearly every summer with my paternal family throughout Turkey. During the school year, I was in the USA as a normal teenager...explaining why we had rugs hanging on the wall & what weird food (sucuk) I was eating.

My background in textiles began in Tanzania while working with a women's co-op in a remote village. This really inspired me to pursue my own venture in handmade textiles.

I'm so happy to be blending my worlds and sharing this intricate part of my culture with all you beautiful people. To every single person that has purchased one of these gems: Thank you for helping this free spirit live her wildest dreams.
